Primrose Pool in Ramsey is a well-maintained private swimming facility that’s perfectly placed for keen swimmers in and around Harwich, Manningtree, Lawford, and Tendring. 

What swimming lessons do we run at Primrose Pool?

We run small group swimming classes with water-based teachers. Only one lesson takes place in the pool at any time, and each lesson lasts for 30 minutes. We run 12 or 13 week courses – please see our Term Dates page to see when our programmes start and finish.

The pool offers a range of excellent amenities to make your swim as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible, including underfloor heating, sensor operated lights, and a separate viewing room so you can watch your little ones during their classes, if you want to.

The pool’s temperature is maintained in the region of 31 degrees and the air temperature is controlled by a fully automated heating system.
